Renting a chalet in Laqlouq means signing up for a specific Lebanese-mountain-holiday format: 4 to 8 bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen you are expected to use, a fireplace or woodstove that you should test in October, and a 10 to 20 minute drive to the main ski lift.
Three ways to book
Booking.com carries the 2 hotels and roughly 15 chalets. Instant confirmation, card payment, best for first-time visitors and diaspora travellers on a tight schedule.
Airbnb carries maybe 40 to 60 listings. Owner responses in English, Arabic, or French. Best for groups and stays over 3 nights.
Direct-owner broker (year 2). The remaining 150+ chalets rent through Facebook and WhatsApp networks: opaque, cash-only, hard for diaspora travellers to reach. Our broker form (launching year 2) will forward your dates and party size to owners we know. Per-lead fee, no markup on your booking.
Prices you should expect
For a group of 6 to 8, expect $120 to $250 per night off-peak. For New Year, budget $400 to $700 per night. Book 4 months ahead for New Year peak or you will end up at the plateau’s smallest chalet.
